FPA Member Grows Presence in Canada
Quebec City, September 12th, 2016 — Food Protection Alliance member Maheu&Maheu, the 2nd largest canadian owned pest management company in Canada has acquired Groupe Sirois Pest Management. Groupe Sirois is a company based in Tadoussac started by Éric Sirois, a passionate entrepreneur who quickly grasped the importance of integrating a regional flavor to the service in addition to focusing on quality.
Louis-Philippe Maheu, Chief Financial Officer of Maheu&Maheu, said ‘’this transaction will consolidate the company's operations in the Lower St. Lawrence, Gaspésie, and the North Shore regions. These are very large areas where the distribution of technicians in the territory creates a distinct competitive edge’’.
Founded in 1933 in Quebec City, Maheu&Maheu employs 120 people in the provinces of Quebec, Ontario, and New Brunswick. It is the third largest pest management company in Canada and the 42nd in North America with revenues close to $18 million. Maheu&Maheu covers the whole country with a strong network of partners and can serve clients in the United States through the Food Protection Alliance of which it is a member since 2004.
